EMDR Consultation & Study Groups

EMDR Consultation is available for individual therapists and groups who have been trained in EMDR Therapy through an EMDRIA-approved program. For those who have completed the basic training and meet the criteria, arrangements can be made for consultation hours to count toward Certification with EMDRIA, and also toward becoming an Approved Consultant in EMDR Therapy. Since 2008, an EMDR Networking and Study Group has been meeting on the last Friday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., excluding holidays. The group is limited to therapists and associates who have completed a minimum of Level-One EMDR training through an EMDRIA-approved instruction program. The group is free and currently meets virtually through Zoom (licensed version, HIPAA-compliant, double encrypted). In 2019, a free peer support group was initiated through the Riverside County Trauma Recovery Network (RCTRN) to serve first responders and other emergency service personnel. The group is offered as a community service and now meets virtually twice a month on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please call or email for additional information and requirements for attending. Based on demand, EMDR Certification Groups are formed to meet monthly. These sessions are held virtually and limited to eight participants, so space must be reserved in advance.
